When and which energy should I register?

By correctly registering your energy data, you prevent errors during audits and keep your MPS administration up to date. This ensures reliable reporting and a better score within the MPS system.

Registering energy in MPS

1. Electricity

Electricity can be entered in different ways:

  • Via meter readings: enter the starting reading and then periodically enter new readings. The system automatically calculates the consumption.

  • Via energy bills: enter the consumption from the invoice per period, or divide the annual consumption by 13 and коррект later.

  • Green electricity (meter readings or invoice): only possible when all electricity is purchased as green energy.

2. Feed-in (energy supplied back)

Electricity that is fed back into the grid (e.g. via CHP, wind turbine, or solar panels) must be registered.

The energy consumed internally from these sources does not need to be registered.

The gas consumption of a CHP must be registered.

3. Geothermal energy

Register the purchased consumption based on the invoice.
Make sure that this is not entered twice.

4. Other fuels

Under “Other fuels” (on the left in the menu), you can register heat from wood, oil, or the use of generators.

Energy registration overview

  • Green: energy that is purchased → register

  • Red: energy that is generated and used internally → do not register

  • Blue: energy that is generated but not used internally → register
