How do I activate the stock module as an existing user?

Great that you want to start tracking your stock in the MPS registration tool. To activate the inventory module, follow the steps below:

1. Prepare your starting inventory

First, make an inventory of your current stock of crop protection products and fertilizers.

Do you have multiple locations, each with its own stock? Then create an overview per location.
This overview will be your starting inventory.


2. Activate the stock module

Activate the inventory module via Company settings. You can find this on your company dashboard.

  • Click the + next to the question:
    “Do you want to use the inventory module?”

  • Select Yes and indicate whether you want to manage your inventory centralised or decentrilised

Explanation:

  • Choose centralised if you have one location or multiple locations that use the same inventory

  • Choose decentrilised if you have multiple locations, each with its own inventory

Click Save and back.


3. Enter your starting inventory

Go to Sites. The Stock module is visible under your sites.

  • Click on Stock to open the inventory screen

  • Click at the top on “+ new agent or fertilizer”

  • Search for the first product from your inventory overview
    Under starting inventory, enter the stock of the selected product.
    Optionally, you can also set a minimum desired stock level.
    If your stock falls below this level after usage, the system will give a notification.

Click Save. The product will now appear in the overview.

If you do not see anything, check whether you selected the correct overview (crop protection products or fertilizers).

Repeat steps above for each product in your inventory overview.
