I can’t find a crop protection product or fertiliser

It is possible that you are using a crop protection product or fertiliser that is not yet known to MPS. If you cannot find the product in the system, you can request a new code from us.

How do I request a new crop protection product or fertiliser code?

You can request a new code via the “Request new code” page.

  1. Go to Locations

  2. Click on Request new code

  3. Fill in the required information

When submitting the request, you must upload a photo or copy of all sides of the label or packaging of the product (or other official product information from the manufacturer), including full details such as:

  • whether it concerns a crop protection product or fertiliser

  • product (brand) name

  • whether the product is solid or liquid

    • for liquid fertilisers: the specific gravity

  • active substances and/or components, including their concentrations or percentages (clearly visible on the label)

Can I choose a similar product from the database?

No.
The composition may be different. For the reliability of the registration, it is important that you select the exact product used.

If the product is not yet available in the system, please request a new code. You will receive a message from us once a code for the product or fertiliser has been created.

I can no longer find the code of my crop protection product or fertiliser

We continuously clean up and update the product database. It is possible that a product was listed twice and one of the entries has been removed.

  • Search for the exact product name and check whether the same product can be found under a different code.

  • If you still can’t find it, please contact our support team. We will investigate this for you, and you do not need to request a new code.

Product code lists per country

Rules for crop protection products differ per country. That is why we maintain a separate database per country.

As a result, a product code that exists in one country (for example the Netherlands) may not exist in another country (such as Belgium).
